Introduction

Recognizing the on-going need for effective continuing management education, as well as the current urgency for effective re-training/retooling education programs, The JoMax Group, Inc. created its Education Group to address the immediate and long term needs in the continuing management education sector.

Through its Education Group, The JoMax Group, Inc. (JoMax) aims to assist businesses and organizations in the private and public sectors, individual professionals, as well as academic institutions at all levels, to achieve their respective continuing educations goals. JoMax is currently offering an entrepreneurial seminar series with the emphasis on giving participants the knowledge and working tools to execute an entrepreneurial transaction.

The emphasis of the JM Education seminars is on combining a new and innovative classroom environment and teaching tools, with effective and experienced seminar providers. JM Education’s goal is to maximize the Seminar Participation Return On Investment© (SPROI©) of all participants in its seminars.

Entrepreneurship Seminar No. 4 – Executing an Entrepreneurial Transaction - The “E-4 Seminar”

The E-4 Seminar is an innovative entrepreneurial seminar/course model developed using Microsoft’s One Note. Designed new from beginning to end, it emphasizes the decision process, deal flow and effective evaluation and due diligence, key steps in becoming an entrepreneur and the necessary tools for executing an entrepreneurial transaction. Many of the “tools” are templates for building a very effective business model and business plan – based on Oscar Figueroa’s years of experience as an SBIC CEO and fund manager. The E-4 seminar will form the foundation for other seminars (e.g., franchising, seeking private equity and venture capital, managing and developing a venture, etc.).

JoMax is also promoting this seminar to corporations and institutions who want to offer displaced professionals and executives the knowledge and tools to contemplate and execute an entrepreneurial transaction as an alternative career path. The seminar can also be offered in a two day module at any desired location.
